Fight Metal With Metal In This Amazing Sequel

TINY METAL: FULL METAL RUMBLE is a turn-based strategy war simulation video game developed by Area 35. The improved and upgraded sequel to the first TINY METAL game back in 2017, TINY METAL: FULL METAL RUMBLE is heavily influenced by the classic Game Boy Advance game Advance Wars and aimed to revive the nostalgia and love for the genre. In this game, you get to play three unique commanders from the first TINY METAL, each with their own squads to command and strengthen up. The now-defunct Kingdom of Dinolda is strangely gearing up its remnant soldiers and secretly excavating dangerous Lost Tech artifacts that can boost their power over the battlefield. You need to stop them from gaining this ancient technology and plunging the world into another bloody war.

It Got More Metal

Similar to the gameplay elements of TINY METAL and Advance Wars, TINY METAL: FULL METAL RUMBLE brings back the good ol’ challenging turn-based combat of this war drama. There are tons of grid-like maps to traverse in this world and a new single-player story campaign that continues the story of the series. Each of your commanders has their special abilities that can affect the stats of various units and turn the tide of battle. Capturing strongholds containing key resources is also an important aspect of combat and adds even more challenges to a mission. There are over 23 diverse units you can use and merging them gives you more leeway and edge when confronting the enemy. The enemies themselves aren’t as passive as they were back in TINY METAL either—they will actively try to stop you when they notice you encroaching on important places like factories and laboratories. You can fight on land and even on the air in this game, but the lack of naval combat doesn’t detract from this title’s good points. What makes FULL METAL RUMBLE even better is the online multiplayer mode that pits you against other commanders. All in all, this sequel is definitely a vast improvement and a love letter to its inspiration.
